TITLE: Lecturer in Art History (starting mid-August 2015 for the 2015-2016 Academic Year)

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS:  Full-time lecturer in art history with primary responsibility to teach Ancient to Medieval and Renaissance to Modern surveys and possibly non-Western survey. The position is for one year with the potential for renewal for a second year. Depending on experience and Department need, possibility to teach an upper-division course in area of specialty.  As a minimum requirement the candidate must have a Masters degree in the field or Masters degree plus 18 credit hours in the field. PhD preferred,and at least two years of teaching experience as instructor of record. Ideal candidate will be a passionate teacher with a student-centered approach focusing on student engagement and success.
